Affiliation: University of Wisconsin-Madison, The LEAD Center of the Wisconsin Center for Education Research in the School of Education.
I am building a portfolio in program evaluation on arts and arts education programming as well as reflective/transformative learning initiatives.
My personal research agenda is shifting to explorations of the roles, affordances, possibilities, and aesthetics of the arts and creative work in transforming unjust sociocultural realities.
My academic training is in comparative media studies via hermeneutic methods, feminist epistemologies, and social justice-engaged scholarship. I have apprenticed in using and teaching methods in qualitative data collection, analysis, and management in a research-based, educational outreach setting. In addition, I have experience in handling and curating artworks on paper.
